Kanye West Debuts Yeezy Season 5 At NYFW & Kim Kardashian FIRES BACK At Her Sisters By Doing This

As promised, Kanye West debuted his new Yeezy Season 5 collection with Adidas at New York Fashion Week on Wednesday. Kanye opted for a more low key presentation than in the past, and took over the Pier 59 studios in Chelsea. Kanye debuted dozens of athleisure looks featuring loose fitting solid colors of burgundy, khaki, black, and denim. Here’s a peek!
Celebs in attendance at Kanye’s show included Anna Wintour, Hailey Baldwin, Kylie Jenner, Tyga, and of course his wife Kim. Kim attended the event in an all-burgundy look, a nod to that day when her sisters pranked her by showing up in the same color.
But noticeably absent from the Season 5 show was Kendall Jenner, who had a scheduling conflict and walked in the Anna Sui show at the very same time. Kendall made up for lost time and brought her sisters McDonald’s afterwards to celebrate a successful Yeezy show.
After treating herself to some fast food, Kim Kardashian boasted about her husband’s show on Twitter. Kim gushed writing, “So proud of my baby for his amazing show today! It was so good! I’m so SO proud of him!!!” Spectators at the show were also proud of Kanye for his choice of models. Yeezy included 19-year-old Muslim model Halima Aden in his presentation, a subtle dig at the current political climate.
