When Katy Perry rides shotgun, you know there’s about to be a whole lotta FIREWORKS goin’ off! The singer joined James Corden in his famous Carpool Karaoke segment, giving us all a blast from the past as they belted out her famous hits, and what better way to kick off the most Monday-est Tuesday EVER than by spreading a bit of positivity…
Katy and James then went into another oldie-but-goodie, when the infamous beat drop of “Dark Horse” ended in an epic dance-off, and is it just me, or did these two take up some body rolling lessons from us here at Clevver?
The two then took on a few of Katy’s recently released singles including “Bon Appetit” and “Swish Swish”, so naturally, James, who’s never shied away from soaking up ALL the tea, brought up that elephant in the room, and boy did we get answers…
Katy also reiterated that she always tries to do the right thing when a situation feels like a fumble, however, she also admitted that she’s ready to take the beef off the grill because, and most importantly, Katy believes that QUOTE, “I think personally that women together, not divided, and none of this petty shit, will heal the world.”
PREACH SISTER. And to touch on the subject of super-female-strength and badassery, Katy and James “Roared” all the way back to their starting destination with a powerful performance of one of our all-time KP faves.
