Kendall Jenner DEFENDS Supermodels, Talks Having Kids & Disses Twitter

Harper’s Bazaar recently got Cara to interview Kendall to get the supermodel and reality star to reveal the naked truth about her life, and it’s giving us a more intimate insight to Kendall’s life than ever before.
When it comes to defending supermodels such as herself today, Kendall told Cara QUOTE, “We don’t work any less hard than the ’90s models did when they were young” adding QUOTE, “I’ve actually talked about it with a couple of women, like Cindy Crawford, who have been doing this for a long time. A lot of people are like, ‘Oh, it’s so much easier now because you have Instagram. You don’t even need an agency anymore.’ But that’s just not true”. Kendall went on to explain that just like those 90s supermodels, she had to go on plenty of castings and meet with tons of photographers when she was getting started in the industry, in addition to having to work 12 to even 24 hour days to keep her career going strong.
On the topic of social media, Kendall admitted that she’s been hanging back when it comes to checking her feeds. She explained to Cara QUOTE, “Lately I’ve just tried to stay off it [social media], and I definitely don’t look at comments...I think Instagram is still a fun place for the most part. I like going on and seeing what people are up to, but I mostly follow stupid accounts with pictures of puppies and little baby animals and people saving animals. Forget about Twitter, which is so not fun these days. It just makes me sad.”
One topic that came up was the idea of motherhood. While Cara didn’t pry Kendall about Khloe’s, Kim’s, or even Kylie’s current pregnancies, she did ask the 22-year-old about what kind of mother she’d want to be, asking Kendall if she’d let her kids get into the modeling world, and if she’d let them use social media. Kendall told Cara QUOTE, “I think I’ll definitely put an age limit on it and try to keep them away from it as much as possible. I always loved being able to play in my yard with my animals, and my dog, and my friends. It’s going to be interesting to see what the world is like when I do have kids. But I definitely don’t plan on having them anytime soon.”
Both ladies agreed that now is a very scary time to be bringing kids into the world, but then Cara suggested they have kids at the same time so that they can look after one another, which is just the cutest thing we’ve heard in a very long time.
Cara rounded out the interview by asking Kendall where she hopes to be in 22 years, to which Kendall gave the lovely reply QUOTE, “I hope to have a family, and I hope to be in love. I just want light and happiness and love.” I guess we shouldn’t be surprised that her answer wasn’t “I hope to be on season 45 of Keeping Up with the Kardashians”.
