That was Khalid killing it with his performance at the Teen Choice Awards!
And congrats are in order because he even walked away surfboard in hand after winner at the show!
Only the top of the top get to perform live on Teen Choice Awards and Khalid really brought I performing not just one song – but a combo platter of perfection including his songs “Young Dumb and Broke,” “OTW,” and “American Teen.” The crowd went wild as the 20 year old artist slayed his big moment at the Forum and he was clearly not alone on stage but joined by a ton of amazeballs dancers!
I should also add that Normai introduced him to the stage saying this: This is one of my best friends and he’s about to shut the place down…” and guess what guys, she didn’t lie because he killed it. Normani and Khaldi actually won for their hit track Love Lies in the category of Choice R&B Hip Hop. Long story short – it was a great night for Khalid who took time on stage after winning to thanks his mom and the city of El Paso, Texas. We LOVE a grateful talent, ya know!?
