Nicki’s performance wasn’t in the Radio City Music Hall like the rest of the award show, it actually took place at the Oculus in the Financial District.
The incredible performance started off with a group of dancers that eventually opened up to reveal Nicki in a hot pink dress with MASSIVE shoulder pads. She looked absolutely stunning with her classic winged eyeliner and flawless face. For hair she did a different blonde bob look with gold embellishments as a makeshift crown.
She had a medley planned and first up was Majesty which she absolutely killed.
Halfway through she stripped off the pink dress to reveal a metallic gold leotard as she transitioned to Barbie Dreamz.
The energy of the crowd was amazing with everyone singing the lyrics along and jumping up and down.
She syked us all out when the music dropped and we thought it was over, but then she rapped a verse acapella seamlessly.
After that she switched up to her verse on FEFE by 6ix9ine which got the crowd even more hype than they already were.
Her energy was so amazing, as was the crowds. And the location change really put her performance at the top for us.
