You may remember there were mixed reviews back when Kim’s KKW Beauty creme’ contour first came out a few months ago. Some people loved it, some people hated it. Some people complained that the packaging wasn’t pretty…
For a product was so underwhelming for many, it’s surprising that it’s won Allure magazine’s best contour product for 2017. Kim tweeted yesterday that she’s honored, but other tweeters aren’t very happy and accusing the mag of foul play.
One person said, “They wanted her on the October cover.” Hmm that does make sense… And another person said, “More like best rip of…”
Allure has always been a reliable source for the beauty world’s best products, so if they’re making deals for their cover girls, it’s legit that fans are annoyed.
If they wanted to award a celebrity product, some people on social media have suggested that Rihanna’s Fenty beauty should have won. Well, all I can say is that Clevver’s makeup artist Bryan Mendez used Fenty contour on me today over KKW Beauty and he has both in his collection…
Bryan says, “Fenty gives you more product for your money and has more color range.”
