#KiniNews: No need to run or jog, just negotiate for allocation - Anwar; 'Umno won't work with PAS'

[KiniNews] Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has told the opposition to hasten the negotiation for allocations.

The Tambun MP said there was no need for the opposition to resort to running or jogging for its allocations - a jab against Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman (Muda-Muar) who recently ran 200km from Muar to Parliament to raise funds for his constituency.

“Just negotiate, it will be settled once there are discussions,” said Anwar.

Meanwhile, Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi said Umno will not cooperate with PAS as long as Abdul Hadi Awang remains the Islamist party’s president.

He said this was based on his party’s previous experience working with PAS, claiming the latter had betrayed many joint decisions made by both parties.
