[KiniNews] PAS has denied naming Muhyiddin Yassin as the Perikatan Nasional’s prime ministerial candidate in the next general election, stating the coalition has not decided on the matter.

Responding to Ahmad Faizal Azumu’s remarks about Muhyiddin being PN’s sole nominee for the country’s top position, PAS spiritual leader Hashim Jasin said Bersatu cannot sideline PAS in determining the candidate for this important position as it needs to be a mutually agreed upon decision.

Hashim also said that PAS is more qualified to lead PN.

Meanwhile, in a separate story, Zaid Ibrahim said it's pointless for PAS to dream of getting the prime minister post.

The former law minister said the nation needed a leader who is prepared to come down hard on corruption and is not confident that PAS would be able to do so.
