Lady Gaga In Tears After Surprising A Superfan With Makeover!

Grab your tissues guys because Lady Gaga just surprised a fan and there literally wasn’t a dry eye here at the Clevver offices watching this video.
What’s up? It’s Emile Ennis Jr here with Clevver News and when Lady Gaga launched her new beauty brand, Haus Laboratories, she said that it is an inclusive makeup line for everyone. And she just followed through on that promise.
Allure just shared a video to their YouTube channel of a Lady Gaga superfan named Brandon Galaz who was told he would be getting a full makeover from one of Gaga's personal makeup artists, Sarah Tanno. At the beginning of the video, Sarah asked Brandon to read a note he had written to Lady Gaga about how she inspired him.
It was already an emotional video, but then Brandon got the surprise of his life when Lady Gaga appeared from behind a curtain. And this wasn’t like most celeb surprise videos. Both Gaga and Brandon were so calm and just genuinely, purely happy to be in each other’s presence, which is what made it so special.
Fans even noted how calm Brandon was in the comment section of the video. But anyway, back to the video, after Gaga and Brandon hugged and cried, he continued reading his note to her about how her song "Born This Way" helped inspire him to come out to his family.
He said quote, “The song made me realize I had to be me -- I came out to my mother and sister, and they immediately accepted me in the blink of an eye.” He went on to explain how his dad unfortunately did not accept him in the same way. But he said quote, “But I found strength and the permission to accept myself in your words; 'Don't hide yourself in regret/ Just love yourself and you're set.”
It was truly a beautiful moment between Lady Gaga and Brandon. He was able to share how big of an impact she’s had on his life, but she too explained how powerful it is to own your truth.
She even got in there and started doing Brandon’s makeup herself. Gaga said quote, “It's not how we look that makes us beautiful, right? It's what we've been through and how we survive, Coming out to your family...not everyone can do that. Way to go.”
And even after Lady Gaga left the set to let Sarah continue her makeup lesson with Brandon, she still came back in tears.
She even said that her mic wasn’t on so she didn’t know if we’d be able to hear but she had to come back to thank Brandom for his vulnerability with her.
She said quote, “That letter that you wrote, this is why I do what I do. Thank you for sharing that, that's so vulnerable and so honest and so real. That's not easy what you did...you just changed a lot of people's lives, and when they see this, they'll be less afraid."
And she was right. The comment section is flooded with stories just like Brandon’s. At the end of the video Sarah also opened up by sharing her story of how Gaga changed her life as well. She told Brandon that quote, “I feel some similar things that you said, and she gave me a lot of courage too, so we have a lot in common. I have failed several times. Had to move home and start all over again. I just knew I wanted this so bad that there wasn't a backup plan. I got up and started all up again. Continue to believe in yourself, perfect your craft, and there is no way you can lose."
I’ve never heard truer words in my life.
It’s no surprise to me that Gaga is using her makeup brand to connect with fans in this way.
She has been known to surprise fans in the past and she really cares about her little monsters.
