Kesha is slowly, but surely, making her musical comeback and her latest performance will definitely hit you right in the feels.
Over the weekend, Kesha gave a powerful performance of Lady Gaga’s ‘Till It Happens to You’ and let me just say, there was not a single, dry eye in the house.
It was a difficult performance for Kesha, but the singer managed to pull through and covered Lady Gaga and Diane Warren’s song ‘Till It Happens to You’ beautifully. Before she started singing, Kesha told the crowd that she wanted to dedicate the ballad to QUOTE “every man, woman, child, animal, that has ever been abused…” and right when she was supposed to start singing, Kesha struggled to keep her emotions in check and couldn’t help but break down at the beginning of the song.
The singer eventually found her groove and went on to give a powerful performance of the emotional song.
About a day after Kesha’s performance, Lady Gaga sang the singer praises on Twitter. She wrote QUOTE, “Killed it @KeshaRose. I could feel your pain. Girl, these boys won’t be in charge forever. The wisdom of women is rising. Let’s get louder.” That’s so sweet of her. Gaga has been supporting Kesha ever since she filed a lawsuit against Dr. Luke alleging that the producer sexually assaulted her, among other things, so, it’s not very surprising for Lady Gaga to send Kesha all the love after her emotional performance.
