Somehow lady gaga's PERFECT half time show brought the haters out of the shadows for some good ole body shamin'
Before we get to what gaga said let's just do a recap of what set her superbowl show apart from the rest. It involved over 100 drones, jumping off the roof of the stadium, live singing, costume changes, and no nip slips. That's already a huge success in my book, but apparently it just wasn't enough for some people.
When gaga heard about the grumblings of critics, she took to instagram to push her positive message even further! She said “I heard my body is a topic of conversation so I wanted to say, I'm proud of my body and you should be proud of yours too. No matter who you are or what you do. I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed. Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions. Thank you so much everyone for supporting me. I love you guys. Xoxo, gaga.”
wow. Pure class, no sass. Also did you notice how amazing she looked? I genuinely hope all the people who complained about her look like supermodels, otherwise they probably don't have much room to talk.
