Lady Gaga does America proud opening the Super Bowl with a flawless rendition of the National Anthem.
Lady Gaga hit every single note during her phenomenal vocal performance of The Star Spangled Banner at Super Bowl 50.
She also hit it out of the park with a show stopping red white and blue outfit and some majorly teased up hair. Here’s another look at the performance.
Right before kickoff Lady Gaga took the center stage on the Santa Clara, California field in front of a huge American flag and sang her heart out. Dressed in a patriotic colors with her own Gaga flare added, she wore a red sequin Gucci pantsuit, glittery red eyeshadow, blue nails, with white and blue stilettos. Get ready for everyone to now copy the soon to be iconic pantsuit. But Gaga’s standout performance matched vibrant look. Her unparalleled vocals were traditional, slightly operatic and undeniable. We checked Twitter and it’s safe to say everyone agreed: Lady Gaga was an excellent choice for the important task. She even hit that “Free” part perfectly.
Yeah Mother Monster knew she hit it. She was joined on stage by Oscar winning Actress Marlee Matlin who presented the National Anthem in American Sign Language- pretty cool. No doubt this was a moment Gaga won’t soon forget, she told NFL.com prior to the show this performance was, “one of the highest honors” of her career thus far.
