There’s only one guy from One Direction that Liam Payne would trust with his precious son and sadly it’s not Harry Styles.

When it comes to babysitting Liam’s son, Harry and Niall are basically at the bottom of the barrel.
If Liam had to choose one member from One Direction to watch his baby boy, it would without a doubt be Louis Tomlinson. The ‘Strip That Down’ singer was put on the spot during his Vodafone Big Top 40 interview when he was asked which of his former bandmates he would ask to watch Bear.
Although Liam named Louis off the top of his head – mainly because Louis has his own child (which totally makes sense) Liam also admitted that Louis would be his last choice as well. BUT, it’s better being on the list than kinda sorta not being on it at all, right? Because immediately after he made that surprising confession, Liam revealed that he wouldn’t be able to really trust Bear with Harry or Niall.
Well, maybe Liam can’t trust his baby with Niall or Harry now, but once Bear grows up and needs some cool fashion advice or wants to learn how to play golf, he’s got two cool uncles to show him the ropes.
All jokes aside though, the singer recently revealed to Billboard that he almost wasn’t going to do the whole solo thing. Liam told the outlet QUOTE, “To be honest with you, I wasn’t going to do a solo venture. I was just going to go into songwriting and carry on and do that. But then I was like, ‘You’ve been trying to do this since you were 14 years old. You would be ridiculously stupid to turn down the option to have a deal.’ Coming out of the band, we had some pretty good opportunities around us. I had to do something.”
And that something was definitely to diss 1D. Just kidding! Liam actually went on to explain that his infamous ‘Used to be in 1D, now I’m out free’ line actually represents his desire to make music that’s true to him as opposed to dissing the band.
Liam said QUOTE, “It was such an edgy, different song for me to do with [that 1D lyric] in it as well, and the way that was written. It was quite an experience.”
So, are you guys satisfied with that explanation of Liam’s 1D line or do you think he should’ve just left it out? Get to talking in the comment section below and don’t forget to subscribe!
