Lili Reinhart just revealed her nickname for Cole Sprouse and our hearts are actually bursting.
Bughead fans got an early Christmas present when Lili Reinhart shared this adorable snap.
Before you knew him as Jughead Jones on Riverdale, Cole Sprouse was Cody Martin on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. And Before he was Cody Martin he was Ben Geller on Friends. Although he was only on the show for less than 10 episodes, Ben made quite the impact.
It’s been 15 years since Cole was on Friends, and now he’s back on one of the biggest shows on television. Being on Riverdale brought Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse together and their obvious on-screen chemistry and adorable relationship IRL has pretty much everyone convinced they’re actually dating.
The two have said that they’re just friends, but when they post things like this, we can’t help but wonder. Lili proved she was just like us when she had a proper binge-watching session of Friends over the weekend. But unlike us, Lili has an actual friend on the show.
When little Cole appeared on her screen as Ben, Lili couldn’t help but pause the show and take a picture to post to her Instagram Stories.
In the Story, Lili captioned the pic QUOTE “nugget to the highest degree”. We’re assuming that Lil is talking about Cole and NOT David Schwimmer and that Nugget is a nickname that she commonly uses with Cole.
Seriously how cute is that?! We know that the Riverdale gang is SUPER close and best friends both on screen and off, but when we see pet nicknames like this it’s hard not to think there’s something more happening between these two!
