Think about it you guys. The casting call for the role of Jasmine asked for actor/dancer/singers of Middle eastern descent. Jade is a huge Disney fan and she’s Yemeni and Egyptian on her mom’s side and she, like me, has enormous eyes. This role is her destiny! In fact, an inside source told The Sun QUOTE “Jasmine is Jade's perfect role… The talks have been going on for some time now and the longer they go on, the better her chances are looking." Aka nothing has been signed and no deals have been confirmed, but Jade’s made it to the shortlist and frankly, we’re most excited for her! Now usually, a member of a girl group taking on such a huge commitment like this would spell major drama for the group because Little Mix already has a ridiculously busy schedule. But not for Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, and Leigh-Anne Pinnock because those girls are amazing and they’re all rooting for their sis to book the film. And if she does, she might be starring alongside Will Freaking Smith who’s said to be the leading contender to voice Genie! I mean, seriously this one role knocks out so many bucket goals. Disney film, playing a minority, playing a princess, opposite the Fresh Prince. Goals, goals, goals! Do you guys want to see Jade Thirlwall bring Princess Jasmine to life?
