Little Mix may have just debuted their new single “Shout Out To My Ex”, but let it be known for future reference that exes are a thing of the past.
If you thought Little Mix brought all the attitude in their newest breakup anthem, for the warning: You ain’t seen ‘nothin yet!
Little Mix gave a major shout out to anyone who did them wrong in the past when they debuted their new single “Shout Out To My Ex” on The X Factor last Sunday, but it seems as though they aren’t all that into actually talking about their exes.
During a radio interview with Capital FM, radio host Roman Kemp asked a seemingly logical follow-up question to the theme of the single, QUOTE, “If you write a song like this do you have to speak to all exes? Clear that song with them?” when Leigh-Anne Pinnock was clearly not having it and stormed out mid-interview.
Shortly after Leigh-Anne stormed out, Jade responded QUOTE, “I think she’s having a bad day” and Jesy even suggested her reaction was due to a lack of sleep. However, just seconds after the blow-out, in came Leigh-Anne with a gigantic smile on her face, along with an entire choir of people singing Bruno Mars’ “Uptown Funk” to which Roman quickly realized he was being pranked by fellow radio host Marvin Humes.
Little Mix are clearly no strangers to pranking radio show hosts. Just last year Jesy Nelson walked off the same exact set when asked about her boyfriend Jake Roche, and in another interview when Jade was asked about Justin Bieber. Safe to say these girls are quite the comedians… so much so, that they continued to celebrate the release of their new single by mocking one of the girls’ very infamous exes for all to see.
The band’s Snapchat followers got a good laugh when Jade was seen mocking Zayn Malik’s X-Factor boot camp dance moves when he had trouble keeping up with the choreography, so if you don’t exactly remember his audition tape, this should refresh your memory…
Shout out to Jade for seriously crushin’ those dance moves… but although Zayn has yet to speak out about all those breakup text rumors and the band’s new single, I’m curious to know your thoughts… do you think the girls are being too harsh on Zayn, or did he finally get what he deserved?
