That was Lorde making her Coachella debut at the festivals kick-off weekend, just a few days after she killed it with her performance in Brooklyn at the Rock N Roll hall of fame's induction ceremony for Nirvana. Could this girls career be any hotter? I'm pretty sure the answer is yes based on the fact that in just her first year alone at Coachella she landed the top spot performing on Saturday night to a packed crowd. Here's a quick peek at her performance:

That was Lorde taking on her song "Team," but over the course of her almost-hour-long set, she rocked the 2014 Coachella crowd with Tennis Court, A World Alone, and of course no show would be complete without Royals guys! It's so crazy to think that last year at this time, most of the world didn't even know Lorde or her music and now, well, she's one of the most exciting new artists on the scene. We also really loved her cool white stage look and flowing gold cape -- kind of futuristic and outer-spaceish (is that even a word). And Lorde loved Coachella too -- she posted some pics that her boyfriend James took of her storm trooper, white magic performance and described the experience as QUOTE "the craziest thing."
