Miley Cyrus Calls Ed Sheeran A** Hole During MTV VMAs?

Uh Oh, did Miley Cyrus diss Ed Sheeran at last night’s VMAs? Welcome to Clevver’s Trophy Life where we are bringing you all of the highlights, malfunctions, and apparently drama from last night’s show. Ed won a moonman for Best Male Video for Sing beating out Eminem, John Legend, Pharrell, and Sam Smith which is very interesting. As he was making his way to the stage to accept his award, he received many high fives and congratulations from several people sitting in the same row, but one onlooker was not as excited.

As he passed Miley, she one, was not clapping, but then appeared to call him an “asshole.” When watching the clip back it looks like that could have been what she said but I’m not exactly an expert at lip reading and if she DID call hin an a hole I feel like the people sitting next to her would have reacted, right? If she DID say it, the real question is why? Back in September of last year, Ed did throw some shade Miley’s way when he told The Mirror, “It’s a stripper move. If I had a daughter, I wouldn’t want her twerking. When I first heard ‘Wrecking Ball,’ I thought it was a brilliant song, but the video distracts too much from it.” Hey- Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. So Maybe that’s what Miley is butt hurt over, but then again, Miley has a tough skin and is used to people throwing unsolicited shade her way. And if Miley was kidding, there were no clear indicators because girl was not smiling. So what the flip happened? You guys be the judge.
