She’s BACCCKK and she can’t be tamed. Miley Cyrus just announced that is hosting the 2015 VMA’s.
In classic Miley fashion, she announced the news herself, writing her first tweet in a month that says “F*ck yeah VMAs!!!!! #VMAs on @MTV Aug 30 at 9p.” She also posted a split screen photo of herslef. In the first pic she is wearing a green alien costume, with a sign that reads “MTV won’t let me perform.” And in the second photo, the alien mask is removed, revealing Miley with her famous tongue sticking out, holding a sign that reads, “So I’m hosting this year’s VMAs.”
And if any of you are worried that it’s a trick, we know the news is true because the official MTV Twitter account posted the same pictures, writing, “.@MileyCyrus has a message for you all.”
The announcement comes just a few hours before the VMA nominations are revealed
Miley has not released a new music video this year so she is not expected to receive any nominations, but if you remember, she does have a special kinship with the particular award show. I’ll give 3 clues: Robin Thicke, a big foam finger, and twerking.
