MTV is bracing themselves for a very scandalous VMAs. They’ve actually given Miley Cyrus “free reign” with the show, but they will have a delay, just in case they need to censor anything.
One of the executive producers of the VMAs, Garrett English, told Entertainment Weekly QUOTE We’re giving her pretty free rein. Obviously there are standards and various other things that were always a part of it, but no, [no rules]… It never comes from a place of trying to limit the range, it’s always coming from a place of trying to open up the full palate. END QUOTE
Another VMA executive producer, Van Toffler, told Billboard QUOTE we have a delay so we’re prepared for her. END QUOTE
While the VMAs might be able to censor Miley on MTV this Sunday, they can’t censor her on Twitter. Miley posted a very cuss-filled VMA promo on social media this week, take a look:
