Before you start scratching your head as to why Seth Meyers would want to start a fake friendship with Miley, as opposed to a real one--worry not. “Fake Friendship” is actually a recurring segment on Seth’s late night show, and this time he desperately tries to “fit in” with the ever cool and edgy Miley for the bit. And since he’s a 42-year-old man with a wife and child, and Miley Cyrus is, well, Miley Cyrus, the joke was hilarious. Two words: Nose ring. Take a look…
Okay Miley’s reaction to Seth trying to pull out that nose ring is perfection. But when that accessory didn’t charm Miley, Seth tried to be even more of a rebel to win her over. Let’s see how that worked out, shall we?
Again, Miley’s reactions for the win! She and Seth have perfect comedic chemistry, but also everything Seth is saying and doing is pretty gross and weird, so it probably wasn’t too hard for Miley to pull those disturbed faces throughout the bit. And if you think that a pierced septum and bragging about threesomes on his Late Night desk was as far as Seth went to seem cool in front of Miley, think again…
Upon further investigation Miley determined that Seth had actually consumed an entire bag of basil, not pot. And she explained to him that he doesn’t need to do anything to try and be her friend, he just needs to be real.
Awww, I seriously can’t wait to see Miley on The Voice! I have a feeling she’s going to be an amazing judge and coach...So long as Seth Meyers doesn’t try to tag along.
