And what better musical guest to pair with Miley Cyrus as the host of the 41st season premiere of SNL than Miley herself?
That’s right, ya girl Miley will play double duty as a host and performer during the October 3rd season premiere, but there’s obviously no question to whether she’s suited for the job seeing that she just slayed hosting AND performing during the MTV VMAs this past weekend.
Although there is no word on what Miley will be performing, she did just release her new album Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz following her VMA performance, so maybe she’ll grace us all with a beautiful rendition of “I’m So Drunk” or “Slab of Butter.” Only time will tell…
BUT while we’re on the subject of stellar performances, following the news of Miley’s double guesting episode, SNL’s Twitter account revealed that The Weeknd will be performing on October 10 with Amy Schumer hosting AND our girl Demi Lovato will perform on October 17 with Tracy Morgan as the evening’s host, which will easily be two of the most unforgettable shows!
Demi, who’s been slaying the music world lately, took to Instagram and Twitter to show her enthusiasm for her very first SNL appearance, writing, “HOLY SHIT I'M PLAYING @nbcsnl ON OCT 17TH!!!!!!!” with a photo of the promo with Tracy.
