And that my friends is just a little taste of Seth Meyers’ opening monologue at the 66th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. Hey guys, thank you SO much for watching Clevver’s Trophy Life where we’re bringing you all the best moments from TV’s biggest night. And we obviously have to talk about Seth Meyers’ hilarious monologue where he poked fun at Justin Bieber. Let’s take a look.

Ha! We don’t know about you guys, but we definitely chuckled a little. Come on, you gotta laugh, right? It’s all in good fun!
This was Seth’s first time hosting the Emmys, and we gotta give him props, he really did a great job! His jokes were obviously all TV based, and lot of them focused on how HBO and Netflix totally dominated in the nominations this year over network TV.
Another funny tidbit came when he joked about the series finales of shows such as Breaking Bad, Dexter, and How I Met Your Mother. Take a look – and oh, spoilers!

There was also a quick VMAs joke where he made fun of the network for giving awards for music videos when they, ya know, don’t really play music videos any more. Another funny moment came when he gave Orange is the New Black a little shoutout joking about how everyone in the room was probably taking pills and that quote “Tonight, we’re all Crazy Eyes.”
However, one of the best parts of the monologue came at the end when THIS happened:

LOL in real life you guys! That was so good !
