These reveals are giving me heart palpitations. Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood music video is literally like a celebrity cattle call. EVERYONE and their mama is going to be in it and the teaser posters just keep on comin’.
Today’s episode of Clevver News Feed is brought to you by Pitch Perfect 2, in theaters May 15th!
Taylor! Zendaya! Lily! Gigi! Hailee! Other Hayley! Lena! Ellie! Kendrick! Obama! No Obama’s not in it, at least not that we know of but Taylor has been steadily releasing the epic “Bad Blood” promo posters and with each release the lead up to this video is getting more and more intense. And they all have these super cool nicknames!
New posters that have rolled in recently include Hailee Steinfeld as “The Trinity,” Lena Dunham as “Lucky Fiori,” Ellie Goulding as “Destructa X,” Gigi Hadid as “Slay-Z” Hayley Williams as “The Crimson Curse,” and now Kendrick Lamar as “Welvin Da Great.”
How cool are these!? Very reminiscent of Sin City right? They should totally come up with an app where you can make your own “Bad Blood” posters with your face and nickname because this girl wants one.
The new additions join Zendaya as “Cut-Throat,” Lily Aldridge as “Frostbyte,” and Taylor as “Catastrophe.”
Taylor recently tweeted a fun fact about everyone’s nicknames saying QUOTE – “Fun fact about #BadBloodMusicVideo: Each individual actor/actress chose their character’s name and persona.” Taylor signed off her tweet with her nickname in the vid, “Catastrophe” accompanied by two cat emoji’s, making clear that you best believe cats have everything to do with her pseudo name of choice.
I CAN’T with these posters. It’s like everyone is a Taylor Swift Avenger! I wasn’t asked but I so volunteer.
The video will make its world premiere at the Billboard Music Awards this Sunday, May 17th. Chills just thinking about it.
