Niall vs. Liam: Most Anticipated 1D Debut Solo Album

Move aside, Harry Styles, there are a couple upcoming solo albums from your former band members that we’re all looking forward to.
Harry may have dropped a bomb album earlier this year, but Niall and Liam are getting ready to release their solo debuts and it’s safe to say, we just can’t wait.
Only in a perfect world would a person say they’re equally excited for both Niall and Liam’s solo albums. Unfortunately, we don’t live in a perfect world, and one person just has to have the more anticipated solo album, right? Okay, not really, but bear with me for just a few minutes here.
Obviously Directioners can’t wait for Niall and Liam to release their solo albums. So far, Liam has only released one single, ‘Strip That Down,’ with very little information about his upcoming debut album. As of right now, all we know is Liam’s debut album has a hip-hop sound and according to Conor Maynard back in March of this year, he told Bang Showbiz that Liam is currently QUOTE, “looking for songs for his album.” Very interesting…
Anyway, while album details are kinda sparse, that doesn’t mean fans aren’t excited for an LP of just Liam’s incredible vocals. In fact, Zedd recently announced a collaboration with Liam on his Twitter and to no one’s surprise, Directioners went NUTS.
One tweeted, “Can’t Wait,” another tweeted ‘I’M READY’ three times with a gif of an excited Linda Belcher, and another fan just responded to Zedd and Liam with “AAAAAAHHHH.” I think it’s safe to say that person is super duper excited about everything.
So, there you have it. Liam’s got an album and new musical collaborations coming out and people are shook, excited, and just everything in between.
Honestly, the same can be said for Niall’s solo album. The singer has basically been hyping up his fans ever since he released ‘This Town’ and ‘Slow Hands.’ We can all expect Niall’s solo album to make its debut at the “end of fall, start of winter” – his words, not mine and like Liam’s solo music, fans are VERY excited for Niall’s LP.
A One Direction fan page wrote QUOTE, “I’m so ready for Niall’s album now but we gotta wait until fall. Every song we’ve heard has been so good. Imagine the album.” Another fan wrote QUOTE, “Niall’s album is going to be the best album in the world’s history.”
One fan even went as far as to say they think Niall’s album is going to be better than Harry’s! They wrote QUOTE, “Slow Hands is a great song, I’m waiting for Niall’s album because I feel it will be amazing, even better than Harry’s.”
Even though both albums’ vibes and sound will be completely different than the other, I feel like in terms of who will have the better solo debut, it will be a very close competition between Liam and Niall.
