Nicki Minaj "EXPECTING A..." Tweet Ignites Pregnancy Rumors!

Nicki Minaj pops out bop after bop. It seems like almost every month she’s featured on a new track with a hot new emerging artist like Megan thee stallion or Da Baby. It’s really impressive. But at the same time, it’s incredible how the rumor mill can pop out rumors about Nicki faster than she can pop out songs.What’s up guys it’s Emile Ennis Jr. here and this time, the rumors are saying that Nicki is going to be popping out not a song, but a baby.But to be fair, she sort of brought this on herself. She tweeted something cryptic on Wednesday night and then deleted it VERY quickly. Like, suspiciously quickly.And that tweet? It just read “expecting a ...”So naturally people assumed that tweet should have ended with “a baby” or “a boy” or “a little barb” And I don’t blame people for thinking that. That seems pretty reasonable.
Except Nicki quickly followed up with another tweet that said “My bad y’all”But honestly i don’t think that means anything one way or the other.Because we know that she definitely at least is in the MARKET for kids.Like remember last week when she posted this to her instagram stories?It says “Ain’t pushing out his babies til’ he buys da diamond”Well, Wednesday she showed off the new million dollar ring that he apparently bought her.So it looks like it’s finally time. Plus, the two just got married fairly quickly and quietly. They announced that they had their marriage licenses a few months ago, and after changing her social handles to “Mrs. Petty”, Nicki announced that the two are officially husband and wife in an instagram post. And she did tweet that she was going to retire in order to have a family, which definitely includes a kid or two.But still, even if nicki was pregnant, she would have to be VERY early on. Like, way too early to tell her fans. Like this person on Twitter said, “Nicki Minaj do not look pregnant in them Halloween pics”Which is definitely true.So maybe that “expecting a ...” tweet actually was supposed to finish with something like…“Expecting a number 1 song and a grammy in 2020”Or “Expecting a lot of kids to show up at my house this halloween”.But this isn’t even the first time that Nicki has done something to spark pregnancy rumors about herself.In 2017 she posted an obviously photoshopped picture of herself super pregnant.The caption read “ATBIMS….I was gonna wait to share the news but”
But for all you diehard barbz out there, I don’t have to tell you that ATBIMS stands for “All these bitches is my sons”.And she started another pregnancy rumor in Chance the Rapper’s new song “Zanies and Fools” with her verse. The verse talks about her relationship with Kenneth Petty, and says “‘Bout to walk down the aisle and be a mommy”
And well, she already has done one of those things!
Come to think of it, when was the last time we saw Nicki drink any alcohol? Even since June she had been talking about abstaining from drinking.
She did a segment with Jimmy Fallon where they went to Red Lobster. And after the segment aired, she tweeted this:“For the record; that was iced tea in that lobsterita glass. No alcohol was consumed in the making of our dinner date.”So maybe she just wanted to show her then-fiance that she wasn’t out drinking with another man OR maybe she was telling us that she’s at least TRYING to get pregnant.
And now 4 months later we get this weird “expecting” tweet. But I will say, I don’t know if this is how Nicki would choose to announce her pregnancy. She might just be trolling all of us.
Remember she trolled us about her retirement!
She does have a Queen Radio show coming out Friday at noon, so maybe we’ll get a few more answers then
Instagram story.
