Earlier this week Nicki Minaj proved all is well in the Young Money family by meeting up with her counterparts Drake and Lil Wayne in the studio. But as Nicki was posting a selfie with Drake to Instagram, her Beverly Hills home was ransacked by thieves. According to TMZ robbers left her estate “completely trashed” inside, with furniture flipped over, clothes cut up, and everything from picture frames to perfume bottles destroyed.
Billboard reports the burglars took off with two-hundred-thousand dollars worth of jewelry and other items. Law enforcement sources say there were obvious signs of forced entry around the house. So far there are no suspects in the case, but some say it was a personal attack on Nicki as the thieves went after sentimental items in her home such as picture frames.
The good news is Nicki was not home during the incident and hasn’t commented on the robbery as of now. However, what Nicki has commented on is Beyonce’s big pregnancy announcement. Yesterday the rapper proved she was in good spirits after the heist and posted a headshot of Blue Ivy on Instagram. Nicki captioned the photo gushing, “This beautiful little lady bug is so smart & special. You guys have no idea! So Dear Blue, you are going to make an AMAZING big sister. Love always, Nicki”.
