Nicki Minaj SLAMS Claims She Stole Lil' Kim's Look & Credits Picasso For Paris FW Inspiration

Nicki Minaj’s latest Paris Fashion Week ensemble had many people pointing fingers and accusing her of stealing one of the most iconic looks from the one and only Lil Kim.
Let’s get one thing straight here, Nicki Minaj would never steal anything of Lil Kim’s. NEVER.
Another day, another hater -- or in this case, a lot of other haters. It wasn’t long after the Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj feud that the rapper would be at the center of attention for yet ANOTHER wild accusation. Over the weekend, Nicki showed up to the Haider Ackermann Paris Fashion Week show in a jacket and that exposed one of her breasts, but don’t worry, there was a metallic silver pasty to keep her from fully exposing herself.
Naturally, the look turned a ton heads and many started drawing comparisons between Nicki’s outfit and Lil Kim’s iconic purple romper with a pasty covered boob at the 1999 MTV Video Music Award, saying that Nicki totally took inspiration from Lil Kim’s past look – but according to Nicki, that was far from the truth.
The rapper took to Instagram to set the record straight on her ensemble at Paris Fashion Week. So, did Nicki actually get inspiration from her peer’s late ‘90s look? The answer to that is no. The jacket that Nicki wore – along with her metallic silver pasty -- was actually inspired by none other than Pablo Picasso. The look was a modern interpretation of the Picasso’s ‘Woman With a Fan’ painting that he created during his cubist period. My mind is blown.
