If Christmas adverts tell us anything, it’s that Christmas is the time for joy and sharing in the comfort of our friends and loved ones. As a way to bring the spirit of Christmas spirit to the homes of the local community in Bintulu, Malaysia LNG Sdn Bhd (MLNG) organised a visit to 30 less fortunate families in the areas of Sungai Plan and Kidurong.
This programme saw the participation of 40 PETRONAS staff as volunteers who distributed food baskets and cash contributions of RM200 to the identified recipients by Social Welfare Department. These heartwarming gesture were hoped to bring some festive cheer to the families while embracing ‘turun padang’ concept to engage with the local communities.
