HOME AND HOPE FOR NEW LIFE: The deployment of 1,500 artificial reef balls at the #Similajau National Park waters has regenerated more than 7 coral species, providing a home and nesting grounds for many aquatic creatures such as the cuttlefish. Some of the corals have grown more than 15cm. This was among the discoveries by our divers during the annual reef monitoring at Patricia Reef off the coast of Bintulu, #Sarawak as part of the #beaconproject, a collaboration with Sarawak Forestry Corporation. It was launched in 2013 aims to protect, conserve, regenerate and enhance marine biodiversity. #PETRONAS #MLNG #PETRONASCSR
