MLNG's Biodiversity, Environmental, and Conservation (BEACON) Project scaled new heights with the opening of the BEACON Project Interpretation Centre.
Since the launching of the BEACON Project in 2013, the project made significant strides with measurable results. With 1,500 reef balls deployed into the waters offshore of Similajau National Park to create a turtle highway and prevent illegal trawlers in protected waters, some 762 turtle eggs were discovered in the Turtle Beach within the enclave of the national park.
