Rami Malek RESPONDS to Awkward Viral Fan Video

Rami Malek responds to the cringey viral fan video and has a message for fans who want a photo with him.
Not all awkward encounters are kept secret, especially in this social media era. Rami Malek whose movie Bohemian Rhapsody hits theaters this weekend turned down a fan’s request when she asked him politely to say hi to her friends. While she thought she would end up being the coolest person ever, things didn’t go so well…
Yep, although he politely declined it was so embarrassing for the fan who just giggled and agreed. She tweeted the clip on her Instagram @EnemyFilm saying, QUOTE “The most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me.”
While we didn’t find out if they even ended up snapping the pic, the cringey encounter with her idol went viral. Rami’s publicist said she saw the video and decided to tell him what was circling around. When he watched it, he didn’t think it was so bad as he was polite to the fan and offered an “alternative” to her shout out request. He also had a message for anyone else who would like to document any encounter with him. He told Vanity fair, QUOTE “I am happy to take photos with anyone. I just want to be aware of what people are doing in the moment. When someone films you automatically, it’s a bit intrusive.”
He also said he’s set to do Ellen and plans on bringing it up because he finds it funny. The fan has gone into full panic mode posting “IM TRYING TO HAVE A GOOD TIME AT PANERA AND RAMI DECIDES TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE FUCKIG VIDEO WHEN I SAY IM GOJNG INTO HIDING I MEAN IT.”
She then apologized to him tweeting, “RAMI BEFORE YOU GO ON ELLEN I AM SO FUCKIN SORRY I SHOULDVE JUST SAT HERE AND ATE MY FOOD.”
