Ross Lynch is about to become a full on movie star people! So all you guys quietly weeping alone and mourning the upcoming ending of Ross’ Disney Channel show “Austin & Ally,” well my friends, this one’s for you! You can dry your tears because according to the Hollywood Reporter, Ross is set to star in a new supernatural comedy that will be brought to us by the same writer that took Zac Efron to the big screen in “17 Again.” There’s really no info about the plot or the title – as of now all we know is that (like I already mentioned) it’s a supernatural comedy and it will be set at a New England high school. Obviously, due to the 17 Again connection with this new movie, people are picking right back up with the comparisons between Zac and Ross – which, let’s face it guys, being compared to Zac Efron is absolutely not a bad thing. Let’s just take a look – both Zac and Ross got their starts thanks to the Disney Channel, but unlike Zac, Ross has not only headlined a huge DCOM (and its upcoming sequel), he’s also starred in a wildly successful TV show. And we haven’t even brought up the fact that he’s in his band R5, which is totally separate from his acting career, and definitely something he’s very focused on, which is something that Zac Efron has never really focused on. But as far as overall entertainment world domination, we see Ross going really far in the future and landing this major movie deal is one step in that direction – don’t you guys agree? I wanna hear from you – so hit the comments section to say what’s up and congrats to Ross! And click here to peep our rundown on 7 Disney channel musicals that probably made your life complete…okay so that might be a little over dramatic but you know what I mean, right? Anyways, guys if you love Ross Lynch and R5 don’t forget to subscribe for non-stop updates you can’t live without. I’m your girl Joslyn Davis, I’ll see you later!
