Cardi B Lands FIRST Movie Deal & Breaks Major Beyonce Record

Cardi B is out here making money moves. She just got a movie deal and broke a major record.
When it comes to Cardi B, there’s no doubting that a star has been born!
Aside from being one of my favorite people on the planet, Cardi B’s career just keeps blossoming more and more. We hear her hits on the radio all the time and now we’re going to get to see her shine on the big screen because she just signed her first movie deal! No word yet on who she will be playing or what the film is called, but a source told TMZ that because of filming, she has turned down several big gigs in March so this is a big deal. And it comes as no surprise that Cardi’s natural next step would be acting because she has one of the most entertaining personalities I’ve ever come across.
On top of signing her first movie deal, Cardi also just broke Beyonce’s record becoming the first woman to have five top 10 hits on the Hot R&B / Hip-Hop Songs chart in a single week. Beyonce previously held the record with 4. Cardi now ties Drake and Kendrick Lamar for the most concurrent top 10s, however Cardi is the ONLY artist to achieve this with her first five chart entries.
