Rumors That Sony Dropped Dr. Luke False?! Kesha's Mom Speaks Out

There are new developments in Kesha’s legal battles with Dr. Luke and Kesha’s mother has a lot to say about it.
While Sony continues to stand with Dr. Luke, Kesha’s mother gives insight into her daughter’s relationship with the famed producer.
Earlier this week, The Wrap reported that Sony Music had plans to drop the producer known as Dr. Luke- the man that Kesha has accused of rape and abuse. However, it looks like that report may have been false. In response to the claim, Dr. Luke’s attorney told Entertainment Weekly QUOTE “This is not true. Luke has an excellent relationship with Sony. His representatives are in regular contact with executives at the highest levels at Sony and this has never come up.” Dr. Luke continues to maintain his innocence, but his reputation is seriously at stake since the pop star’s loyal fans have stood together in support of Kesha.
And her biggest supporter? Her mother, Pebe. Pebe gave Billboard an exclusive look into Kesha’s relationship with Dr. Luke. “She was a prisoner,” Pebe says. “It was like someone who beats you every day and hangs you from a chain and then comes in and gives you a piece of bread.” Kesha, who has refused to work with Dr. Luke in years is technically allowed to work with another producer but Kesha’s mom also told Billboard QUOTE “Luke gets to approve them. He gets to approve of anyone she works with. He has final say over everything.” Kesha continues to fight for her rights with her mother by her side.
