Rumors are beyond frustrating and Selena is encouraging the trolls to stop dwelling on the past and move on with the truth.
Selena expressed her frustration about the spread of false rumors about her on the internet with a recent Instagram post of an artsy floral image that said “I want to claim my own name.” She then elaborated with a heartfelt caption saying QUOTE – “Sometimes I get frustrated when I hear lies about who I am. The Internet is meant to keep you "updated" but it just takes old news and freezes it like it's now. You have watched me in pain and I've owned up to it through my music and actions. I grew up with you. I am beyond excited to show you the next chapter, the TRUTH. I've been keeping so many secrets... I'm reborn in every moment so who knows what I'll become.. As long as I'm happy with me.#strongisbeautiful #healthyperspectiveonthemfools”
You tell em’ Selena! The spreading of rumors is such a vicious cycle and people like Selena in the public eye suffer through it daily which is just really not ok. It’s important to remember that not everything you read or hear is truthful and you shouldn’t judge someone unless you’ve been in their shoes cus guess what, you don’t know their life!
I’m excited for this next chapter Selena mentioned and hope that she continues to block out the haters and show herself some lovin.
