Hold your feels! We've got selena gomez in Netflix's new Fundamentals of Caring trailer
The trailer for Selena Gomez's new movie The Fundamentals of Caring is here, and you might want to grab some tissues
Our girl Sel Go doesn't get a lot of screen time in the new trailer, but it's just enough to tease what we think is going to be one of her most touching performances yet.
Selena plays Dot - a hitch hiking runaway teen, who gets picked up by a home caregiver named Ben (played by Paul Rudd) and his wheel-chair bound patient named Trevor (played by Craig Roberts). Ben and Trevor are on a odd bucket list road trip that will ultimately lead Trevor to his father who abandoned him.
From what we can tell, Selena's character will provide a lot of sass and a lot of comedic relief in what feels like a tear jerking indie dramedy – and she may or may not have a little romantic fling with Craig Robert’s Trevor
The Fundamentals of Caring premiered at Sundance this year and Selena told Vulture that this role was one that she desperately wanted to play saying
"I understood that these were three broken people that were going through their own separate journeys, and I was willing and I wanted to go there. I wanted to do all of the things that I could do with her. So I auditioned three times."
If you wanna see Selena in The Fundamentals of Caring it hits Netflix on June 24th.
