Selena Gomez Teases Her DRAMATIC Netflix Series "13 Reasons Why" With New Trailer

Selena Gomez is teasing her upcoming Netflix project on Instagram--get all the details here!
Selena released a short teaser for the upcoming Netflix series she produced on Instagram, and it looks 13 kinds of amazing!
The upcoming Netflix series is called “13 Reasons Why”, and will premiere on the streaming service March 31st. The show is based on a young adult mystery novel by the same name, and judging by the tease Selena shared to her Instagram account, it looks like it’s going to be all kinds of dark. Check it out!
#DRAMA! Just to give you a little context so the teaser makes sense, the show’s plot will follow the story of teenager Hannah Baker, who has recently committed suicide and left behind 13 cassette tapes, all addressed to the 13 peers whose actions contributed to her decision to take her own life. Sooo yeah, it’s safe to say that “13 Reasons Why” probably won’t be a barrel of laughs, but will definitely tackle some of the issues and hardships teens have to deal with in real life.
Selena herself has been open with her struggles with depression and anxiety, and after reading “13 Reasons Why” she and her mother teamed up with producer Kristel Laiblin to adapt the novel for the small screen. And it’s obvious that the story is near and dear to her heart, because when she posted the teaser to Instagram she called the series her QUOTE, “passion project”. Considering the subject matter and Selena’s vast experience working film and television, she was obviously the perfect producer for the job.
As for the teaser itself, it’s definitely giving us Pretty Little Liars-meets-Gossip Girl vibes, which means we’ll definitely be binge-watching it as soon as the show is released on Netflix in March.
