The ending of ’13 Reasons Why’ left fans with many unanswered questions, starting with ‘is there going to be a second season??’
And the answer to that is still a bit murky. While talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Selena was asked if the hit Netflix show will be getting a second season since there were a lot, and I mean a lot of cliffhangers at the end of the season.
The executive producer basically answered with a ‘we’ll see.’ Selena said QUOTE, “We don’t know what is going to go beyond it, but we know there are so many stories that lie beneath each character. That’s why it became a series in the first place. So we’ll see.”
Well, that’s not a no, so we’re definitely keeping our hopes high for another installment. Katherine Langford, who portrays Hannah in the series, chimed in and said QUOTE, “There’s definitely more story to tell. It would be cool to continue the dialogue of this story. There are so many cliffhangers at the end of the season.”
In the same interview with THR, Katherine went on to gush about Selena as a producer. She said QUOTE, “When I met her, it was the last day of set and she had just flown out from the AMAs where she did that incredible speech and she said something about, ‘The people that know me, what they know about me is that I care about people.’ And that sums up Selena in a very truthful way. You can tell this story means a lot to Selena and it means a lot to her fans.”
So, needless to say, the cast of the show absolutely adored her.
Since the release of ’13 Reasons Why,’ Selena has been spending quality time with her family. Just this past weekend, the singer and her family took a trip to Disneyland to celebrate the success and attention the show received since its debut on March 31st. Not a bad way to celebrate, right?
