Selena Gomez REMOVES Every Trace Of Justin Bieber On IG

It may be years overdue, but Selena Gomez has officially purged her Instagram of any sign of Justin Bieber, but fans are wondering… why now?
What’s up guys, it’s Sussan Mourad back here on Clevver News, and while you might’ve spent your weekend poolside with a refreshing beverage, Selena Gomez spent hers purging her Instagram of Justin Bieber.
I know, I know, it’s 2019, Justin’s heavily married, Selena is doing her thing and in a much better place, but Sel’s major purge over the weekend didn’t go unnoticed by many eagle-eyed fans, so we gotta discuss. First off, timing of the act in question is a little strange considering it was only a few months ago when Justin got into a tiff with a fan on Instagram who said that he only married Hailey Baldwin to “get back” at Selena.
He admitted QUOTE, “I absolutely loved and love Selena, she will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heels in love with my wife.” Then, just weeks later, Hailey also responded to trolls saying that she’s “second best” to Selena. So hey, there’s no better time than now to get some good ‘ol house-cleaning in.
BUT the photo in question that many fans noticed Selena axed was one from last year that she posted for Justin’s birthday, which read, “March 1, 1994 someone that I know that happens to be super cool was born. Boom.”
Although it’s unclear whether or not Sel deleted EVERY photo with reference to Justin from her account, this one just so happened to catch the attention of fans who are still, AND I MEAN STILL, hoping for a Jelena comeback. Come on guys, that was sooooo 2010.
Thankfully, this purge doesn’t seem to have to do with any sort of drama between the two, and I know you know we’ve all been there: you have a few minutes to yourself, you casually start creeping on your own Insta feed, you come across a questionable photo that was cool to post in a past phase, you give yourself a pep talk and you finally agree to cut ties. No harm, no foul, people!
