New year, Same Old Selena, but she’s taken her red carpet fashion game to a whole new level, and we’re not mad about it.
Selena sure is kicking 2016 off on a fashion high. Only a few days after appearing in all white at the Golden Globes after party, she graced the Unicef ball red carpet held at the Beverly Hilton donning a floor length Louis Vuitton red leather dress, complete with a low zipper neckline and intricate cutouts.
Selena gushed about attending the Unicef event, which has been near and dear to her heart for quite some time, as she took to Instagram to post a photo of herself with Louis Vuitton’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquiere, writing, “So happy @unicef @unicef are partnering with @unicef -I've been an ambassador since I was 17, met Nicolas last year. SO grateful for the worlds to collide for a great cause.”
Many other celebrities attended the event, including David Beckham, who began working with Unicef 15 years ago, to be honored with the Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award presented by rock n roll legend Sir Elton John and his husband David Furnish. Elton delivered a hilarious introduction about David, saying QUOTE, “He established himself as one of the best that ever was in soccer and he gave up all of that to be a renowned underwear model. Well done, David."
