Selena and The Weeknd make one fine looking pair, and during their red carpet debut as a couple they had no problem packing on the PDA…
Selena and The Weeknd arrived at the 2017 Met Gala hand in hand, and both looked absolutely dazzling in their formal wear.
Selena wore an embroidered plunging gown by Coach, while The Weeknd donned a classic black tuxedo with a blinged-out broach to fashion’s biggest annual event.
The ever-affectionate couple had their PDA on full display while walking the cream and blue carpet, with Selena even being caught whispering “I love you” into her man’s ear. The pair also avoided what could have potentially been a super awkward run-in, because they happened to be trailing Bella Hadid’s mother Yolanda and brother Anwar while being snapped by photogs. According to witnesses, the foursome never interacted on the carpet, which is probably for the best because there’s nothing more awkward than running into your ex’s mom while cozying up to your new girlfriend in front of the entire world. Trust me--I know.
The near-awkward run-in obviously had no effect on Selena or The Weeknd’s night, as they were also caught kissing inside the event. Both posted pics of their glamorous night together on their respective Instagram accounts. Selena shared a black and white pic of her and The Weeknd entering the Met Gala, meanwhile The Weeknd posted a pic of him and Selena looking pensive and smouldering on the carpet..
I’d say they couldn’t be any more attractive if they tried, but they obviously don’t ever have to try.
