Selena Gomez Teases "Back to You" Music Video with CRYPTIC Notes

If you haven’t been fully comprehending Selena Gomez’s Instagram feed lately, you’re not alone. Selena has now posted 6 teaser pics plus 1 video so it’s safe to say her “Back to You” music video is coming VERY soon. It all started June 1 when Selena posted this video screenshot wearing a gorgeous beaded dress with feathered shoulders. The yellow text shows lyrics from the chorus of her 13 Reasons Why season 2 soundtrack song, “Back to You”. If that look wasn’t enough, the next teaser sees Selena looking pensive in a 70’s orange top with matching hoop earrings. But don’t be distracted by her look- there’s more lyrical teasers here. The next teaser reveals her love interest for the video, and soon after they seem to be in an all-out screaming match. Okay, things are getting a little more interesting. Is anyone else getting some telenovela or soap opera feelings here?
The eerie teaser that follows that one sees Selena staring straight into the camera, clearly distraught after the blowout fight. The lyric this time reads, “What’s the point in hiding?” The next teaser has the internet in full speculation mode. Selena is giving the camera SOMETHING serious while sitting in the back of a truck with her man. This lyric reads, “Everybody knows we got unfinished business”. Um, what is she trying to tell us here? The internet think this means her song “Back to You” IS actually about her ex Justin Bieber. The two have been known to fight, go through ups and downs, and they’ve always had unfinished business. And that line, “What’s the point in hiding?” COULD be a reference to the pair hiding from the media. But this last teaser reveals Selena has vowed to have some fun with this idea.
So we’re gonna patiently wait for the full vid to drop to see what this fake drama is all about. This teaser vid was the only one with a caption, reading “(COMING SOON)”. Selena previously shared a lyric video set to clips from the new season of 13 Reasons Why and a vertical video on Spotify. What do you guys make of all these cryptic teasers for her music video?
