Shawn Mendes sent fans into a complete frenzy over the weekend with not one, but two teases from his anticipated third album. Last night Shawn hinted at the release of new music with one envious Instagram photo. We see Shawn sitting on a swing *SHIRTLESS* while gazing out over the water in Jamaica. Shawn captioned the photo teasingly: "album soon come." It seems Shawn tried to distract fans by mentioning his album, but we're pretty sure he was scoping out the perfect location for our honeymoon.
Okay, fine. If you must know the truth Shawn is traveling in Jamaica right now. He posted another photo from the trip of a jam session and captioned the photo simply with the Jamaican flag. Shawn may have been inspired to mention his album on Instagram after THIS fan interaction on Twitter. The day before, a fan tweeted pleading with Shawn, "tell us something about SM3 please" and to the fan's shock HE DID. Shawn replied with lyrics reading, "You're perfectly wrong for me, that's why it's so hard to leave."
Cue the uproar. It sounds like Shawn may be further along with his third album that we previously thought. Naturally this quote has sparked tons of speculation from fans online. The verdict is still out about WHO this song is about or WHAT the song is called. But we’re guessing we'll find out soon. Because in between finishing his album Shawn has found time to play his first Bat Mitzvah! That's right. Last weekend Shawn serenaded 275 people at a 13-year-olds multi-million dollar Bat Mitzvah in NYC. TMZ snagged your inside look.
