After looking SO adorable on the red carpet, Millie Bobby Brown, Caleb McLaughlin, and Gaten Matarazzo had THE best first Emmy’s experience ever. Netflix’s Stranger Things wasn’t eligible for any nominations this year, but that didn’t stop these three cast members from getting up in front of the audience. The gang decided to jump on stage and help pump up the crowd performing Bruno Mars “Uptown Funk.”
Okay, seriously…that was like the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. We’ve already know Millie can rap to Nicki Minaj, but her voice last night was especially amazing.
Unfortunately, the rest of the world didn’t actually get to see this because it happened before the show started…so we just have to live through the videos that have been posted on social media. But the trio even did a synchronized “dab” move at the end of the performance.
It’s definitely safe to say that they killed it. Plus, not only did they get to have fun on stage, they even handed out peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to the audience made by host, Jimmy Kimmel’s mom.
Alright, if that wasn’t the best first awards ceremony anyone has ever had…I don’t know what is.
