Stranger Things Plans To Kill Off THIS Main Character With This CRAZY Theory

Is Finn Wolfhard, aka Mike, getting killed OFF in the next season of Stranger Things? There’s one theory going around that’s predicting just that...
This is one fan theory we do NOT wanna get behind.
When it comes to fan theories about main characters getting killed off, predictions are usually based on clues or foreshadowing within previous seasons of the show in question. But a new theory about Mike being killed off in Stranger Things is less about the character’s storyline, and more about actor Finn Wolfhard’s upcoming schedule.
Finn has played beloved main character Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things for the past two seasons, and while his story arc and character development grew and deepened in the past season, some fans are worried that his part is going to be cut exponentially in seasons to come. This fear comes from the fact that in real life, Finn has a very busy filming schedule ahead of him. Finn starred in this years “It” reboot, and is signed on to appear in the sequel, which is scheduled to be released September 6th, 2019. That means Finn will be shooting scenes for that film in 2018, in addition to another horror film he just signed on to star in, called The Turning.
And if you’re like, okay okay that’s quite a lot but he could STILL fulfill his obligations as a main character in Stranger Things 3 next year, that’s not all Finn has on his plate in 2018. According to Finn’s IMDB page, he's also attached to a few other upcoming projects, including the Carmen Sandiego reboot.
Netflix officially confirmed that a Stranger Things 3 would be happening on December 1st, which means the series will undoubtedly be shooting episodes sometime next year. But with all of Finn’s other obligations, what does this mean for Mike? Well, when we look back on how brutal the show has been with some of its previous character deaths #JusticeForBarb #JusticeForBob #JusticeForMewMew, it wouldn’t be COMPLETELY out of the question for the writers to plot out a way for Mike to sacrifice himself to save his friends and/or his beloved Eleven. Now that is NOT the kind of plot twist we would be able to handle, but if it’s the only way for Finn to continue to let his flourishing career flourish--we should at least prepare ourselves for the very worst.
All that being said, PLEASE let this be just another insanely wild theory that never turns into reality. There’s no way we can handle losing another sweet, innocent character on Stranger Things, and yes I am 100% including #1 Mom Steve Harrington in that statement.
