The Season Finale of Riverdale was last night and we are dishing on the latest Riverdale death as well as the latest scoop on Season 2
Proceed with caution because there will be some MAJOR, I repeat MAJOR spoilers from last night ahead!
Talk about an epic tear jerker! Is Fred Andrews actually dead! Yes yes he is. Pretty undeniable after that heart wrenching scene at Pops where Archie is cradling his father right after a masked man came in a shot Fred.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa told E! News quote, “ The second you start thinking about who deserved it the least, it's sort of like it has to happen.”
He goes on to compare Archie to Batman and Spiderman. Both superheros have experienced loss that made them into who they are and we will see a similar situation with Archie. Roberto also says quote, “The impulse, the journey is going to be dark, like Batman. It is going to be driven by revenge and violence begetting violence, and payback. “ But as all heros do, they turn to the good side and turn their vengeance into light, and this is exactly the journey we will get from Archie in season 2.
We also got some amazing romance this episode that left our Riverdale hearts pounding! Bughead declared their love for one another but what will happen now that Jughead has joined the Southside serpents? And things are also steaming up for Veronica and Archie with that sexy sexy scene. But what will become of them now that Archie just witnessed his fathers death!
