As one AMAZING fan theory sweeps the internet, Stranger Things just revealed 3 new characters coming to season 3.
Get ready for a whole lot of Stranger Things info & one incredible theory that’s sure to help pass the time until season 3
It’s safe to say that fans of Netflix’s Stranger Things, are still reeling from the show’s second season because, let’s be real, we all have questions. Unfortunately, we still have to wait until our pressing q’s are answered (hopefully) in season 3, but until then, the internet is wasting zero time putting together some pretty incredible theories about one our favorite television crews.
Easily one of the biggest TV phenonomeon to hit the streaming site in recent years, it’s no surprise that fan theories are spreading like wildfire across the web, but one theory in particular has gotten quite a lot of buzz because, uh, it’s totally believable.
From reddit user, appleparkfive, the theory suggest that everybody’s favorite babysitter, Steve, will take a job under Chief Hopper at the Hawkins Police Department. That’s right, he’s becoming a cop… according to the theory, of course. The user wrote QUOTE “"The theory that Hopper needs someone he can trust, and Steve has nothing going on in life. So he should join the police dept, giving Hopper a #2 he can actually trust. It also gives Steve a reason to be around in a logical way. I've seen it around, and yeah. I'm sold."
We’re sold too. Hello? It makes so much sense, right?
But if that’s not enough of a theory to hold you over until season 3, then get ready to jump to all sorts of conclusions over brand new characters coming to Hawkins. 3 character bios have been released, and the internet is already buzzing over what actors could be joining the show. The studio is currently looking to fill the roles of Mayor Larry Kline, Bruce, and Patricia Brown. Let’s break it down.
The role of the mayor is QUOTE “Described as a classic, '80s style slick politician, 'Kline' is described as pathetic and driven only by his own interests.”
Yikes. He sounds fun, not. And then there’s Bruce who definitely doesn’t sound fun, either. Described as QUOTE ““A morally compromised news reporter in his 50s, “Bruce” was described as outwardly sexist, overweight and bedraggled.”
DOUBLE YIKES. Thank Goodness for Patricia Brown QUOTE “the role of the sweet, neighborhood elder. The studio is looking for a woman in her 70s for the role which will see her spending a lot of time tending to her garden and offering her advice to the neighborhood kids.” AHH, SO MUCH TO DISCUSS.
Now, I’ll turn it over to all of you, so get the conversation started down in the comments. Are you down with the Steve theory and what do you think of these new characters? And who should play them?
