So if this is the case, then the apple apparently doesn’t fall too far from the tree it was broken up with, because Taylor may have pulled a Joe Jonas circa 2008… pot, kettle?
It may have been 8 years ago, but people don’t forget that time when 18-year-old Taylor Swift appeared on the Ellen Show to reveal that Joe Jonas had broken up with her over the phone.
Whew, yeahhhh, it still leaves a slight burn on our hearts, but fast forward 8 years later, and new reports are now claiming that it was Taylor who cut it off over the phone with Calvin following his car accident in May while she was in Nashville with her family. Sources say that Taylor was very vague over the phone as to why she decided to pull the plug, but mentioning that she “just needed some space.” Uhh, hold up: Between touring the world for a year combined with being away performing night club sets isn’t enough “space”, then girl better get in line for the next big move to Mars. But in all seriousness, we’ve gotta take this whole thing with a grain of salt, considering all the other evidence that we do know from the breakup.
So let’s look at this in perspective. (READ KINDA FAST/JOKINGLY) When the breakup first occurred, it was Calvin that allegedly did the deed before he tweeted that there was nothing but love and respect, to which Taylor retweeted. No harm done. Then pictures arose of Taylor smacking face with Loki, to which Calvin lost all chill and played the ‘you’re dead to me’ via social media card, then shortly after, Taylor did the same. Now it’s Taylor that did the same thing that happened to her in 2008, causing a killer breakup song, but I need to cool down because MY HEAD HURTS.
Whatever the case is, I’m calling a mad publicity stunt and some major BS. Buuuut my chill isn’t about to slow down any time soon considering while all this is going down, Tay’s new man meat is busy posing nearly naked for W Magazine. Photos were released of the actor posing in nothing but his briefs, and another wearing the crap out of a navy fitted suit, and I suddenly don’t know which I prefer…
