If you’ve been searching for a good reason to tune into the 2018 American Music Awards, well, look no further.
The American Music Awards are a week away and the performance lineup just got better and it’s all thanks to Taylor Swift.
Tay made the big announcement with a pre-recorded video that aired on Good Morning America and she had none other than her adorable little fur baby Meredith by her side. While Taylor is SUPER excited to kick off the award show with one of her incredible, showstopping performances, Meredith, however, was totally unfazed by Taylor’s announcement.

On top of that exciting announcement, Taylor also made sure to let her fans know what exactly she’ll be performing that night. In an Instagram post for those who may have missed the initial announcement on GMA, Taylor posted the video to her own page and captioned it with QUOTE, “I’m opening up the American Music Awards with a performance of ‘I Did Something Bad.’ Meredith is not excited, but I am.”
Meredith may not be excited for Taylor’s upcoming performance but I can think of, oh millions of Swifties who definitely are.
How excited are you for Taylor’s opening performance at the AMAs? Are you totally looking forward to her performing ‘I Did Something Bad’ or do you wish she chose a different song?
